100 lbs apart + I’m actually happy AF in BOTH pics 😊💕 . In the photo on the left, I was only about a month into my journey. . I hadn’t lost much weight yet but I felt really good about my food choices. My moods were better and I had so much more energy. . I was no where near my goal body/weight but still, I remember feeling SO happy. . One of the most important lessons this journey has taught me— thinness will not cure you. Being smaller will not bring you peace. . Contrary to what diet culture would have you believe, you can be miserable at any size. . Your happiness.. your perspective.. your attitude.. those are all choices that you make daily regardless of your physical shape. . Before you buy into another weight loss plan or join another group, I challenge you to think about what it is that you REALLY want. . Is being a size four or weighing 130 lbs really what’s important to you? Ask yourself, is this about how you look or is this about your health? . 🔥🔥🔥 Yes I couldn’t agree more! I lost a bunch of weight after I had three of my children and looking back i was never satisfied I thought I still looked “gross”. This fourth pregnancy I have gained a bunch of weight but this time I’m gonna focus on not just making healthier choices and working out but try and change my mindset so I’m truly happy again.
