If youโ€™re going to do bar behind forehead one you should start with arms at less of a perpendicular to the ground and maintain a still upper arm.

Skull crushers are a great exercise!! They smash my triceps but it also feels like Iโ€™m keep my core engaged so it becomes more a compound movement!!
