Glutes and calves today on my new plan with @_jacklenton 🙌🏻 - workout: . ▪️warm up- abduction and extension based glute work with a resistance band 🔥 . ▪️single leg hip thrusts 8reps for 4 sets (I used 32kg here) . ▪️standing calve raise machine - 4 sets of 8 reps . ▪️abduction machine- 4 sets of 15 reps . ▪️glute cable kick backs - 4sets of 20 reps (I saw some ‘pt’s’ saying glute kick backs in any form won’t cause muscle gain. LOL. It’s called progressive overload. Add it to any exercise and you will progress. I use the cable machine so I can keep adding weight over time🤪) . ▪️calve killer 💀 - use a weight you can do for 15 reps, rest 15 seconds and do reps till failure. how do you protect your ankle/achilles during glute kick backs? i haven’t been able to workout much for a couple weeks because i hurt my achilles after doing cable kick backs (which i’ve done before) i don’t do extreme weight on them so not sure what to do
