✨MY #1 FITNESS TIP✨⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Okay so I have to be a little blunt today. I’m asked a lot of questions but one of the most common is people want to know HOW. HOW long a pull-up took, HOW I can eat so much and “not get fat”, HOW I “got abs” - the list goes on. The only truthful answer is that I put in the time. 🤷🏼‍♀️ That’s also my #1 fitness tip: PUT 👏IN 👏THE👏TIME👏 Period. End of story.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ve spent A LOT of time in a calorie surplus. I’ve spent a lot of time lifting weights. And I’ve done this for YEARS. I’ve never put my body in an extreme calorie deficit and probably never will. And while I wouldn’t say I was ever extremely lean, I’ve been able to gain muscle, reshape my body, and get stronger 💪🏻⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Keto, paleo, intermittent fasting, low-carb, etc. we’ll do it all and when we’re not SHREDDED after a month we give it up. Fasted cardio, HIIT, LISS - these are merely TOOLS 🔧 you can use to achieve your goals. But you are truly your greatest weapon. Your mindset, commitment, and ability to be consistent is EVERYTHING.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If you want to put on muscle, take some time to build. And I don’t mean three months of lifting followed by six months of extreme dieting and cutting so you can step on stage at some local bikini show and get 3rd place 🥉People do this and wonder why their metabolism is f*cked and they wonder why they keep gaining weight, why they can’t put on muscle. But again, it’s because they didn’t put in the time. They weren’t willing to wait and do it the right way.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Or someone will start working out and decide they want to get a six pack and grow their glutes 10 inches in a couple months 😒. They’ll pick a program, do it for 8 weeks and when they don’t see the results they want, they quit, or spend more 💸 on a new, better program. NEWSFLASH: Your program probably isn’t the problem. Your expectations and lack of commitment are. Again, PUT IN THE TIME.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Train hard, eat well, recover, rest. Do this over and over again and your body WILL reward you. Overtrain, starve yourself, crash diet, treat your body like 💩 and your body won’t. Period.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Tag a friend who needs to hear this! Happy hump day friends! 💕✌🏻⁣⁣ @briannamariefitness briannamariefitness
