The top 5 things I'm doing now to lose the weight I've regained so I can get back to this transformation pictured! . 1. Tracking my intake. While I understand this doesn't work for everyone I think it is highly important to have an understanding of nutrition, your daily needs, and how close you are to those needs. The honest answer is that you're not going to lose weight if you aren't eating the right amount and creating some sort of caloric deficit. . 2. Increasing Activity Straight forward but as humans we get bored when we repeat action. I used to be able to do 20-40min sessions of stationary cardio but now I dread every minute. So I found a solution by joining my local YMCA and playing lots of drop in sports. If you are dreading part of the journey, turn it into something you can enjoy. . 3. Being Honest with myself. Its easy to make excuses or ignore internal or external issues but the faster you accept them the faster you can work on a solution. Admitting your faults is not an excuse, its your first step towards success. . 4. Having a key support group. Whether this is friends or family or a group on facebook, have people you can connect with. Click the link in my bio to join our facebook group full of people working towards the same goal. Its super supportive and leaves you feeling unified rather than alone. . 5. Have Patience. This is going to take time so stop thinking you're not doing good enough. I never ever want to hear or see "I only lost 2lbs this week". While yes we can always do better, its important to be happy with every step taken towards the goal at hand. If you're making any steps away from your former unhealthy life then that is something that should always be celebrated. Time is your best friend. . Increasing activity is definitely the one I connected to the most. Can be so difficult, especially when you just can’t get yourself to do stationary cardio. I’m the exact same way. I found by doing 10 minutes of the stair machine and switching to another machine helps a bit. Trying to find different options or alternatives right now though. 👍 as always, thanks for the constant motivation! 🌞

Definitely having patience. I wanna see quick results and I always have to remind myself it doesn't work like that other wise I get very discouraged.

1-5 all resonate with me! After a 2 year hiatus I gained back almost all of the weight I lost the first time. We're in the same boat. We can do this!💪

Stop with the transformation pictures and focus on the now. Forget the past. That’s rule #1

100% line 5 resonates with me. If I don’t see the progress I want as quick as I want I get discouraged. It’s a lifelong battle. I don’t know why I’m trying to rush it!

Support and being honest. I had to really be honest with myself when I hurt myself and went back to doing things that weren't so great. I was in your program real brief than had gotten hurt and things happened. And I turned to the good ol bottle to cope with it all and lost track of everything I had w9rked hard on. Being honest with myself was facing reality that I could lose my whole family and have shitty health if I kept it up. I was def going into a dark phase again in life and thankfully I found the light. I am not in counseling but I will be at some point. I have to do it at some point. And my wife has been supportive to a point...but thanks to your fiancee @morganlosing i have connected with some awesome ladies who inspire and help me out when I am having a bad day. It is never to late. I am promising myself that I wont give up this time no matter what happens. I have a great group of ladies who are very supportive. I am super grateful for that! Ptsd is def no joke. Im glad there are people who can relate. And understand what I am going through.

I definitely need to work on having patience. I have alot of friends/people who can drop weight or build muscle so fast with makes me super impatient and discouraged. Having a support group is huge for me too!! You got this Danny 💪🏼
