The hardest part of your fitness journey is getting started... ⁣ As beginners we all walk in the gym and go straight to the cardio equipment because that is our comfort zone, and all we know!!!⁣ ⁣ I get it. I’ve been there.⁣ ⁣ I want to challenge you to get out of that comfort zone, and pick up some weights!💪🏼⁣ ⁣ My biggest tips/suggestions if you are in that position right now is: ⁣ ⁣ 1. Do research! Watch videos, look at pictures, read! Just be careful, there can be some crazy stuff online.🤪😂⁣ ⁣ 2. Ask! Helllllooooooo, 👋🏼 hit up my DM’s i’d LOVE to help you out! Or, ask a friend with the education! 💪🏼👍🏼⁣ ⁣ 3. Go into the gym prepared. Write in a notebook, or in your notes on your phone your workout routine so you know EXACTLY what you’re doing when you go in there. (You can even write things next to the exercise to spark your memory incase you forget how to do it!) ⁣ ⁣ 4. Go to the gym with a friend. It’s so much easier to try new things when you have a friend doing the same exact thing! Or hey, bring a friend that has been lifting for awhile!!!😎⁣ ⁣ 5. Look cute!!! This one is cheesy...but look good feel good. It works! For men and women, wear some of your favorite workout attire, you’ll be not only more excited to workout but you’ll feel good about yourself too...this is in correlation to #6...⁣ ⁣ 6. Stay confident. If you don’t walk into that gym with a go getter attitude, chances are you’ll run back over to that cardio section!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Always remember...EVERYONE has a first time for everything. You’d be SO surprised how many individuals have felt the same exact way you’re feeling when stepping into a gym.⁣ ⁣ EVEN ME!!!! I’ve been there too!!!⁣ ⁣ Go own those dumbbells and lift some weights ya’ll, you got this!!!💪🏼💓⁣ ⁣ #fit #fitness #motivationalquotes #motivation #fitchick #flex #adidas #blonde #lift #weights #tips #fittips #girlsthatlift @dylanjfit dylanjfit Dylan Hornof
