My biggest challenge is also one of my biggest blessings. My scoliosis is something I mentally (and every so often physically) struggle with. What keeps me going is reminding myself that every single person has struggles and battles they fighting👊🏼 Rather than hiding behind my insecurity on social media, I chose to share it. The reason I do this is for every person that follows my journey- whether you have scoliosis or not. Social media is an amazing place full of so much opportunity and community, but sadly the downsides to social media can be detrimental. Comparison, jealously, envy, boasting, bragging and bullying are only a few of those downsides. The reason I said my scoliosis is ALSO a blessing is because I believe God gave me this platform to help, inspire and shed light on others dealing with physical or mental struggles🙏🏼YOU’RE NOT ALONE🖤 People always ask “how are you so confident when you look so different?” First off, I’m not always confident. However- I’m proud of my strong, healthy body and if I feel like wearing just a sports bra to the gym, I do it! People may stare but I’m in the gym for ME🙋🏼‍♀️Don’t get me wrong though, there’s certain clothes I just don’t feel confident in, but honestly that’s ok! No one feels confident everyday in everything they wear, scoliosis or not. I’m currently in the process of trying Rolfing for my scoliosis and will document my experience along the way! ——————————— ▪️1 on 1 coaching(apply in bio) ▪️Guide To Tracking Macros eBook(Link in bio) ▪️Scoliosis eBook(Link In bio) @hayleyelysefit hayleyelysefit Hayley Wakefield

May I ask.. is there a reason you have not had spinal fusion? Very much not trying to be rude here! I'm just very interested in how it's been for you and why you have not had to undergo surgery.

I follow many people with scoliosis, but you look the closest to my case, I was fused with hocks 16 yrs ago... And I still struggle with pain, imbalance, sciatica... The list goes on... God bless you for this

Thank you for sharing this. As someone who also suffers from scoliosis and starting weight lifting abt a year ago, it’s nice to see someone who I can relate to 🙌🏻
