Have a good day !😍
#90DaysToAConsciousBody 29/90 ✨ I can’t remember the last time I worked out. I think it’s been 2 weeks, if not more and I’m completely okay with that.
I started having shoulder pain a couple of weeks ago. I was still working out and pushing through the discomfort until my other shoulder started to give out.
Now with two aching shoulders, I got the memo. I needed to stop and listen.
Your body is always trying to communicate with you. Wether it’s through hunger, aches and pains, or emotions, your physical body is always communicating with you a deeper truth.
Any physical manifestation of weight, disease, or pain is rooted within something deeper.
For example, shoulder pain is connected to “carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders”. Less gym time gave me more time to explore this idea a little more. I’ve been spending more time meditating and understanding how this idea pertains to me. Whatever comes up in meditation release it from my body and shoulders.
I also had a massage therapist that specializes in emotional release help me work through the last bit of it.
It’s been two days and I’ve experienced no pain or discomfort. I’m still going to give it a couple of days before I jump into working out again.
Moral of the story is: ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. What seems like a pain or an ache that you can just blow off may be trying to communicate something important you.
Have a good day !😍

I had pain in my right shoulder when I first started lifting weights, along with lifting a 40lb child in and out of his car seat. Gave the weights a break for a while and let the boy climb in and out of seat on his own! All good now :) Keep listening to your body!
