I’m more than excited about the amazing @laurelbeversdorf’s brand new *Yoga with Resistance Bands* classes that she just contributed to my online class library!! (Sound on to hear her instructions in this clip - FYI!) . These innovative classes are intelligently-sequenced around creative themes that Laurel selected, and they all incorporate the smart addition of resistance bands (the yoga world’s fastest-growing new yoga prop - have you heard? 😉) . Laurel created 3 new classes for us, and the first one just released today! (The clip featured here is from this class.) . This first class is called “Rotating Around a Weight-Bearing Hip”. It focuses on hip strength and prepares us in a very intelligent way for the “peak pose” (or really, peak “movement”) of transitioning between Warrior 3 and Half Moon and back again (i.e. hip rotation around a weight-bearing hip!) . I’m always impressed by Laurel’s pristine cueing, her creative but potent sequencing, and the way she incorporates her deep understanding of the human body and how it moves into her yoga classes. . If you aren’t already following @laurelbeversdorf, I highly recommend it! She is one of the most insightful yoga educators I know, and I am very honored to get to feature her offerings in my online class library! .
