How was your first week of the New Year?! 🎉 _ Were you able to stay on track with your goals? _ If you did, great work and keep it up! If you didn't, try to figure out what your limiting factors were. What held you back or pulled you off track? What factors limited you from getting on or staying on track? It's important to recognize these things because these are the factors you have to CHANGE or adjust in your lifestyle in order to get on and stay on a positive path. Making a healthy change to your lifestyle isn't easy and it does require CHANGE and EFFORT. Without those two things you wont get very far at all. _ Aim to make improvements every single week or day, don't give up, keep putting one foot in front of the other. _ For me, my last week's check in pictures (left up top) were not my best. I was bloated, my weight was up, I was retaining BUT I also hadn't been consistent with my macros or water intake. I enjoyed the holidays too which can always contribute to a little more retention. It's part of life and guess what! What has been done can be undone AS LONG AS you get back on track and are consistent. This past week I was consistent, got my workouts in and hit my macros. I did really well and my weight came down from 129 to 127. Getting back on track and consistency are both key. _ Here's to a new week, a fresh start!
