Sometimes we forget that between a before picture and a progress picture (I never call it an after picture because it’s a journey) we forget about the what happens to get where we are. Some people will say it is easy to lose weight, build muscle, etc. I’m going to be honest and tell you that for me it is a struggle. I have good days and I have horrible days. I have days where the last thing I want to do is workout and there are days where I need to remember to rest because I’ve been working out hard. Never ever thing that once you decide to commit to a healthy lifestyle that it is all going to be a magic fix. I still struggle with my weight going up and down. I struggle with injuries that I think should be over with in a day and it takes a month and a half to recover because I don’t listen to my body and prolong the injury. I struggle with my eating from time to time. The point is is that we are all works in progress and we will never be perfect when it comes to committing to a “healthy lifestyle” 24/7. You find what works for you and you do what you need to do to be successful. All of our journeys are going to look different. We aren’t perfect! Just please, take care of yourself and be kind to yourself! You are all you have and you are all you can be! You got this! Truth, progress takes time and the diet has always been the hardest part for me. Figuring out what to eat as opposed to working out cause I've got some really good workouts but no clue when it comes to eating.🤘
